Our favorite part was growing closer with each other and having the difficultconversations that brought us closer together. There was nothing we did not enjoy!
The discussions with our mentor couples were our favorite part. Meeting with people who were close to our age and who got married very young, they shared very real advice about married life, starting a family, family life, and how different all of those things can be when you stray away from God and the Church vs when you keep the relationship. They even shared the hard parts and how there is much to figure out as a married couple and how married life has many ups and downs but being committed to figuring it out and keeping God in the center of your marriage is what makes it work.
Our favorite part of the program was the discussions that were prompted by the differentlessons. We had conversations about topics that we had not really thought out and so wewould spend a lot time discussing in-depth even outside our meetings with our mentors.We also enjoyed meeting with out mentors, they were genuine about what a marriage isand you can tell they put a lot of love and care into providing an optimal experience for us.
The final meeting of reflecting on all the growth we have experienced through ourmeeting an the advice our mentor has given. Seeing how much we've been able to openup over the 6 meetings (comparing meeting 1 to meeting 6) and how much we've grownfrom them as a couple was amaizng.
Our favorite part was meeting with our mento couple, Mike and Cindy. They are so wise,practical, and fun to be around. They were so welcoming since the beginning andgenerous with their time. Hearing about their marriage and learning their top advice hasgiven us a new confidence heading into marriage.
I enjoyed the online courses and everything it had to offer. They provided great insightand understanding along with beneficial information to a life long marriage. I don'tbelieve I had a least favorite part everything was extremely informative and beneficial.
Our favorite part was learning about each other's virtues on a deeper level anddiscussing how to help each other live a more virtuous life. We also enjoyed the dailycouple prayer at the beginning of each chapter
I loved meeting with my mentor couple and talking with them about the experiences theyhad when they first got married. It gave us a real relationship (that we already admired) tolook upon.
Our favorite part of the program was the personal experiences. The true story sectionsand videos brought life to the topics of every chapter, which made these topics easier todiscuss.
Our favorite parts of the program were the videos we watched on couples' relationshipstruggles and conquers, and Chapter 5 when we met with the priest marrying us and theparish priest with our mentor couple.
Spending time with our mentor couple was definitely our favorite.It did seem like this program was set up to put the mentor couple under a bit of amicroscope which was sometimes uncomfortable, but they did a great job handling it.
Our favorite part of the program was going over the book exercises with our mentors. Wealso enjoyed watching the couples videos and hearing stories from different couplesaround the country.
Talking with others about marriage, learning what is truly important - the good and bad.Whether that was Denise, our mentor couple, family/parents. It made us feel closer,surrounded by people we love that just want us to succeed.
My favorite part of the program was having a meeting with our pastor and mentors. Iabsolutely loved getting to talk to my pastor and ask him questions that I had nevergotten to ask before. It was a very special moment for my fiancé and I. I loved having mymentors there and pastor. It was amazing.

I believe we definitely grew as a couple, not only closer to each other, but closer to God and the church. We really focused on the sacrament of marriage throughout the preparation. We also talked about things that really happen after the wedding; not being 100% perfect all of the time and how to deal with conflict/differences.

I would certainly recommend Be More Retreat to other couples. With each lesson being roughly 30 minutes or so long, you receive a great amount of knowledge regarding each topic that will certainly benefit those engaging in marriage
