A Sacred Christmas Keepsake: Our Lady of the Spouses Ornament

A Sacred Christmas Keepsake: Our Lady of the Spouses Ornament

As we enter this holy season, we’re reminded that every act of love within the home reflects God’s divine plan. Through a new and meaningful gift, Witness to Love invites you to join in strengthening marriages and families across the Church.

In 2020, we received a sacred and singular gift — a one-of-a-kind hand-painted icon of Our Lady of the Spouses, created by a contemplative artist from France exclusively for Witness to Love. This beautiful image unites the devotions of Sts. Louis and Zélie Martin and Our Lady of the Spouses, reminding us that holiness begins at home. There is truly no other icon like it in the world.

Earlier this year, in October 2025, shortly after the feast of their well-known daughter, St. Thérèse of Lisieux, we celebrated the 10th anniversary of Sts. Louis and Zélie Martin — the first married couple ever canonized together. To honor this joyful milestone and answer the Holy Father’s call to renew marriage and family life, we are humbled to introduce the Our Lady of the Spouses Icon Ornament — a gift of prayer, beauty, and renewal for marriages and families.

Only 1,000 ornaments have been created as faithful replicas of this one-of-a-kind icon — and each one supports our Sponsor a Couple Journey, helping engaged couples prepare for a Christ-centered, lasting marriage.

We invite you to be among the first to receive this special ornament by joining the Sponsor a Couple Journey today. Your monthly gift of just $10 ensures that engaged couples receive the mentorship, resources, and formation they need to thrive in their vocation of love — while you share in the mission of renewing marriage and family life across the Church.
