Building a Culture of Love and Discipleship

Written by Witness to Love | Oct 1, 2025 5:11:40 AM

Today, on the Feast of St. Thérèse of Lisieux, we are reminded of her words: “To love is to give everything and to give oneself.” This “little way” of love speaks directly to the heart of our mission at Witness to Love — helping couples discover that marriage is a daily gift of self, not just a promise for one day. Thérèse’s own parents, Saints Louis and Zélie Martin, lived this same truth in their home, showing that holiness is possible in family life and that love, when fully given, can impact generations. Their witness continues to inspire us as we walk with couples and mentors, building marriages rooted in Christ and lasting joy.

Annual Marriage Champions Leadership Luncheon

We recently gathered for our Annual Marriage Champions Leadership Luncheon at the Cathedral of St. John the Evangelist in Lafayette, Louisiana. The day began with a beautiful Mass celebrated by Bishop Douglas Deshotel, serving as a powerful reminder that Christ, present in the Eucharist, remains at the heart of the mission of Witness to Love.

Giving Through Witness to Love

As we enter the final quarter of the year—often one of the busiest seasons in this ministry—we carry with us a deep sense of gratitude and excitement about all that we get to do to help couples encounter Christ through the gift of friendship with other married couples. We invite you to invest today in these couples through Witness to Love.

Witness to Love is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, so every dollar you give is tax deductible. Your investment today helps us strengthen marriages, families, parishes, and communities across the country.

We see daily that authentic faith formation is directly tied to the health of marriages and families. By giving to Witness to Love, you are investing in a ministry that is working every day to renew marriage, family life, and the Church — helping to counteract the growing decline of marriage and faith in America today.

We are so grateful for each of you — parish leaders, couples, and friends — who share in this mission of love and who help make the renewal of marriage possible.

In Gratitude for each of you,

with the Witness to Love Team & Board
